How to receive payment from YouTube?

Want to know when your AdSense payment will arrive? Trying to find out if you will be paid this month or next? You can find details about our payment process from this post.

Link your YouTube channel with AdSense-

You need to add an approved AdSense account to receive payments from YouTube. Then you can't earn money from YouTube. An important step in getting paid from YouTube is to create an AdSense account and link it to your YouTube channel.

Steps to receive payment from YouTube -

The tasks you need to complete in order to receive payment from YouTube are to provide tax information, confirm personal information, choose a payment method, and meet payment threshold requirements.

When will you receive your first payment?

Complete the following steps to set up your account to receive your first payment from AdSense.

1. Provide your tax information-

Tax related information may be required to be collected depending on location. For more information, see How to submit your tax information to Google.

All monetized creators on YouTube are required to provide tax information, regardless of where they live in the world.

Google may need to collect some of your tax-related information depending on your location. If you need to provide tax information to Google, you can do so by visiting your AdSense account. Not all publishers are required to provide tax information.

To receive payment for the month in which you are submitting tax information, you must submit tax information by the 20th of that month.

How to submit tax information-

• Sign-in to your AdSense account.

• Payment Click on the Payment Information option.

• Click on Manage Settings option.

• Scroll down to the "Payment Profile" option and click the 'Edit' icon next to the "US Tax Information" option.

• Click on Manage Tax Information option.

• On this page you will find a guide to help you choose the appropriate form for your tax situation.

2. Confirm Your Personal Information (PIN Verification)

The personal identification number (PIN) mentioned below is sent to the address mentioned in your account, so it is necessary to confirm that the recipient's name and address are correct. So you better write your current address while filling the form. If any information needs to be corrected, follow these instructions to change the recipient's name or change the payment address.

Verify your identity (not required in all countries)

Depending on Google policies in different countries, you may be required to verify your identity using information such as your name, address or date of birth. If you do this, you will usually not be asked to verify the address until your identity has been verified.

 Verify your address-

Once your earnings reach the address verification threshold, Google Adsense will send the PIN by mail to the recipient's address. Before issuing a payment, you must enter this PIN in your AdSense account. Your PIN will be sent by ordinary post and may take 2-3 weeks to arrive. To learn more about PINs, see Address (PIN) Verification at a Glance.

If you have separate payment accounts for AdSense and YouTube, you'll need to verify your address when either of your payment accounts reaches a threshold. You only need to verify your address one time. You don't have to do it separately for YouTube anymore.

3.  Choose payment method-

Once your earnings reach the payment method selection threshold, you can select the payment method. For example, in case of India it should be 100$. Different payment methods like Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), EFT via Single Euro Payment Area (SEPA), Wire Transfer, etc. may be available to you depending on the address to which the payment is sent. If you have separate payment accounts for AdSense and YouTube, you'll need to choose a payment method for each of your payment accounts once they reach the threshold.

How to set-up a payment method-

• Sign-in to your AdSense account.

• Payment Click on the Payment Information option.

• Click on Add Payment Method option.

• In the "Add a payment method" section, fill-up your bank account details.

• If you want to choose this as your primary payment method, select the Make it as primary payment method checkbox.

• Click on the Save option.

4. Meet the payment threshold-

Once the current balance reaches the payment threshold at the end of the month, a 21-day period begins to process the payment. After the processing period is over, we will issue the payment.

For example, let's say your account has a payment threshold of $100. If your current balance reaches $100 during the month of January and you've completed all the steps above, we'll issue a payment at the end of February.

If your current balance does not reach the payment threshold, your final earnings will be added to the next month and the balance will continue to accumulate until the threshold is reached.

AdSense payments are made once a month.  Your final earnings at the beginning of the next month are calculated by adding up your estimated earnings for a month and are posted to your balance on your payments page. If your balance is above the payment threshold and your payment is not on hold, you will be issued a payment between the 21st and 26th of the month. Note that when you receive payment depends on your timezone, whether the 21st is a weekend or holiday, and your payment method.

The final earnings from YouTube for the previous month are added to your YouTube payment account balance in AdSense between the 7th and 12th of the month. For example, if you're in the US and you earn $100 in June, you'll see this balance on your AdSense for YouTube homepage between July 7 and 12.
